The project explores a contemporary interpretation of a traditional material palette, where exposed brick walls and timber surfaces define the spatial identity of the house. The double-height living area acts as the central heart, connecting kitchen, dining, and lounge into a single, continuous space. Large openings and high-level windows bring in soft, diffused daylight, enhancing the texture of materials and creating a constantly changing interior atmosphere. Built-in furniture, integrated shelving, and minimal detailing reinforce a sense of calm, clarity, and permanence.
The interior is organised around openness and visual continuity, where vertical connections between levels enhance spatial depth and interaction. Warm tones, natural materials, and carefully curated elements create a balanced environment that feels both contemporary and timeless. The use of brick as a dominant surface, combined with soft textiles and refined wood detailing, establishes a strong architectural character while maintaining comfort and livability.
